The information and services available on Small Businesses Botswana are provided for general informational and directory purposes. By using the website, you acknowledge the following.
1. Business listings
Business-listing information is supplied by business owners, representatives or other contributors. Although we may moderate submissions, we do not independently verify every statement, licence, qualification, price, location, availability, ownership claim or other detail. A listing is not certification, endorsement or a guarantee by Small Businesses Botswana. Users should conduct their own checks before purchasing, hiring, paying or entering into an agreement.
2. No professional advice
Website content is not legal, financial, tax, medical, investment or other professional advice. You should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional for your particular circumstances.
3. Advertising and sponsored content
The website, newsletters, emails and WhatsApp communications may contain paid advertisements, sponsored features, affiliate links, partner offers or other third-party promotional content. Advertising helps support the platform, but does not amount to our endorsement or guarantee of an advertiser, product, service, price, claim or result.
We do not provide advertisers with users’ names, email addresses, telephone or WhatsApp numbers, or other personal data for the advertisers’ independent marketing. Third-party advertising content may be included in communications that we send to subscribers ourselves or through service providers acting on our instructions.
4. External websites and transactions
Links may lead to websites and services that we do not control. Their content, availability, security, terms and privacy practices are their responsibility. Any communication, purchase, payment, booking, contract or dispute between a user and a listed business or advertiser is solely between those parties.
5. Availability and accuracy
We try to keep the platform useful, secure and current, but do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or free from harmful components. Content may become outdated, be removed or change without notice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Botswana law, Small Businesses Botswana and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from reliance on listings or content, use or inability to use the platform, dealings with businesses or advertisers, or use of external links. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our collection and use of personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy. That policy forms part of this disclaimer and should be read together with our Terms of Use.
